Transaction ID?, Keys? Whats all this then?
Touristdetective holds no personal information, and does not require you to become a member. However, we do need to stop people stealing the files so we have protected each download with a simple "key" this is usually a 3-4 digit number.
With this key you have full open, save and print right on the document. We also allow you to re-download your purchased file a few months down the line, with all our new up-to-date information.
So how do you know what files I purchased? How do you know for what area? well we use the paypal transaction ID - if you have already printed the guide we will include this on the printout to make it easy for you to get new versions. With this transaction ID we can find out your KEY and the file you downloaded.
The Transaction ID also allows you to pass on the file to other friends who will be going with you on the trip - provide them with the url of our site and they can get a copy as well, all you need to give them is the TransactionID to paste into the box on our main page.
All we ask is you use the document in a "fair" manner, that is, give it to friends, pass it onto people, leave it in the holiday cottage after you go, email others going on holiday with you the ID - BUT do not post transaction IDs on the internet or post the file to a website - we will block the ID from being used if we discover this happening.
